sounds normal, for F1 weekend..
It was the same way in Indianapolis las time I went so we ended up camping..

They said there's about 30% chance of rain for the weekend with highs in the low 70's. There's a lot of people concerned that Austin can't accomodate all the people expected and that traffic control will be a nightmare. They said something like 180,000-200,000 people are expected. Educate me a little about F-1 because I don't know much about it. I hear a lot of wealthy people from Europe and the Middle East attend these events so we'll see how big town Austin holds up against other cities around the world. We already host big time events like Austin City Limits and South by Southwest but promoters say this is on a whole different level. All this commotion has got me excited. Hell i might even become an F-1 fan......
