What is there to prove? Zimmerman initiated when he started following Martin through his own neighborhood. He even called the cops and told them he was following him.

You can make up your own scenario if you want, but the only person that knows anything else about it was murdered by George Zimmerman.

Following =/= stalking. Following =/= starting a fight. Following =/= justification for assault.

Yes, but *most* people use them interchangeably (even though it is incorrect). Regardless what we know is Zimmerman shot Martin and Martin is dead. A homicide occurred. Whether it was justifiable is a matter of speculation and obviously debate..

I'm simply stating that if he had a violent criminal record he would not be allowed to purchase a handgun and/or obtain a CCW permit.

Since he had both, I'm concluding that he likely does not have a violent criminal history. And if he did have a violent history, why wasn't he charged in a court of law and found guilty?
