Any shops or people successfully done auto to manual programming on all modules?

Here's the issue I'm having. I reflashed the DME and programmed all modules. My EGS is unplugged. DSC and cruise control still don't work. I assume I'll have to unwire the hard-wire that is hooked up to the clutch so you don't have to hold it in to start the car. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

But anyways. I'm just looking for some one that knows of a person or a shop that would be able to fix this for me in Southern Cali. Car drives and runs fine the way it is. But no DSC, no back up lights, no cruise control. And that was even after the flash of the DME.

Thanks for your guys help.

You don't need to reflash the DME. Just clear adaption and you should be good to go.

Talk to Neil1138. He's the man when it comes to the auto to manual swap.

Well I'm going to reflash the dme to a manual tune anyways. So when I get it back I'll try this as well. Thank you NickG.

Neil hasn't been much help at all honestly. He helped me with the SA codes but that didn't do anything. Other than that he just keeps telling me to read his thread which doesn't help. Regardless his thread has helped many and it just isn't working well for me I guess.

You don't understand........there's NO NEED to reflash the DME. The auto and manual cars use the SAME software calibration. Just clear the ECU's adaption so the ECU can relearn with the EGS removed and BAM.....ECU now setup for a manual car.

Well I'll try that and let you know what happens. So the DSC light should just magically go off after driving a bit?.

Additionally, you need to recode the car from an automatic to a manual, to have a properly functioning DSC, EWS, etc.

Which I did. I put in manual SA codes and manual everything. OTHER than the DME. So I shipped my DME to my tuner to flash it to stock setting of a manual than flash there manual tune on it.

My swap is done with the exception of the coding. I went to a 5 speed manual as well as a 2.8 in mine. I actually have a GT1 but am in the dark on how to use it to recode the dme for a swap like this. Any suggestions?
