Gimme ideas!

Just got myself a 99 328i! I love it and am wondering if there are any "must have" upgrades/mods I should do. Thanks!

If you are looking for power you can gain quite a few HP by fixing everything that is broken. Perhaps you have a little hesitation at around 2500 rpms, look into vanos repair. Here is a DIY http://www.beisansystems.com/procedu..._procedure.htm Maybe you are slowly loosing oil could be the valve cover gasket or the oil filter housing gasket. Have you replaced the cooling system components yet? The expansion tanks are notorious for exploding. Pulleys, belts and other things could use to be done at the same time. How about the air filter? Spark plugs? Transmission fluid? Differential fluid? Does your car make a whistling sound as you are accelerating? Could be the lower intake boot.

Look into it. There is loads of good information on this forum just use the search function in the upper right hand corner. If you have a question just search, I imagine it has been asked before.

Agree ^^ make sure you replace the cooling system. Make sure all your components are up to par first. Then make your car breath better intake/exhaust and headers if u wanna go that route. Good luck

Welcome to the site I'd say a good exhaust replace cats and a cold air. Do a good tune up and make sure everything is good to go. Stay away from headers unless you want big power and noise.
