My Ride: 2002 325Ci
2002 325Ci New owner from Seattle area

Hi guys. I was referred here by a friend of a colleague since I'm new owner of an '02 325Ci. I hope to gain some helpful information about my sweet new ride from these forums, and look forward to discussing the finer points of BMW self-repair and customization with you all.

A bit of background, I'm not much of a motorhead, but I am pretty familiar with most of the inner workings of a typical vehicle. German cars are a whole new area for me, and it took me about five minutes to figure out how to open my gas door.

I also panicked the first time I accidentally bumped my shifter over to the Steptronic side!

I have a few things I'd love to touch up on my car, including the chrome window trim (possibly replace with black vinyl, suggestions or comments welcome), the BMW hood ornament, and the lighting fixtures for the back-up lights (one side is starting to yellow slightly. Any advice to save $$ over buying a new fixture?)

Anyway, thanks for having me. Happy driving!
