there is your real price for a Diff if you want one fully built. it will come out to around 2300 (after you send them back your stock gearing).

do you really think you will get a fully built diff for 804. when another site that specializes in differentials is selling for 2300?

I don't see why your mad dude, just looking out for other forum members. Honestly good luck with the sale.

Now here is how to get everything done for under $1000.

BMW Motorsport gears: $804

Straight from Rahal BMW 742-746-2600.

$530 for the 3.91 (Part #33.12.7.768.525)
$804 for the new edition 4.10 (Part #33.10.8.321.899)

Installing R&P: $85

Labor: $0

Man up, get your hands dirty.

Fluid: $30 ($15 a quart)

Amsoil 75w140 Severe gear diff. lube.

GLWS

But if you haven't ever set up ring and pinon gear you would not want just wing it, so the labor on this would be about a GRAND I have paid for gears on my Jeep and Camaro.

good luck with the install. im not competing with people who are buying the ring and pinion and doing the install themselves. that is not what im selling. my diff is fully built and reasonably priced. i already posted a link of what a fully built diff costs, so for those of you who are going to buy a ring and pinion, stop crapping on my thread.

thats like buying a E36 versus an E46. completely different car(s)

bump.

and for the last time. for those of you who got great deals elsewhere and/or are buying a ring/pinion setup, please do not crap on my thread. its rude offensive and unnecessary. if you are not looking to buy or got a great deal elsewhere, great for you. Im sure you would expect the same courtesy if you were a seller.

i paid 2k+ for this setup and posted a comparable website where you can get this product and the cost is 2300+ (not including labor).

if you have a hookup or found a screaming deal off the forums, thats great for you but not in any way relevant to my thread.

Hey I have a 3.91 diff and looking to change to a 4.10 diff would you be interested in a 3 way trade where someone would pay and send you a stock diff... I would get your 4.10 diff ... I could send my diff to the other person.... Let me know if your interested in that

Also are you getting any noises from your diff?

no noises.

i would be open to a 3rd party deal if you can find a buyer who wants a 3.91. easiest way would be for you to swap with them, the you can offer me cash on top of the stock diff. im assuming you would get cash from that buyer for your 3.91.
