A little glock help?
Picked up the 3.5lb connector for my G19. I've detailed stripped my glock before, so this isn't the first time I've had to do this. I've installed the flat trigger before. However - I ran into two small issues and not sure what to do.
#1. The second frame pin (the lower of the two on a Gen 3) will NOT budge. I'm applying a ton of force to it. How the heck can I loosen it up so I can get it out?? #2. The slide stop spring is in the way of the top frame hole and now I can't re-insert my first pin back through. If you hold the frame up against the light, you can see the end of the spring blocking the hole. Just push the spring aside with a pin and jam the freaking pin back home?? ![]() ![]() |

The lower pin is the trigger pin. You have to use one hand to sort of push or pull the slide lock lever forward or back, as that is what is locking the pin in place. As you move it forward or back, push on the pin. Once you have that removed, pull the slide lock lever out, then you can reinstall the locking block pin and put the slide lock lever back in and reinstall the trigger pin.

Now I think I bent the slide stop spring....when I install everything - it rests upwards at an angle.

Bend it back. You'll be fine.

Ok, everything is back in working order...thanks Reedo.
An aside - after I installed all the parts, etc....the slide is kind of difficult to rack. requires a significant amount of force to do so. What the hell??!?! |

Check for any kind of obstruction or friction along the top of the frame. Also make sure the recoil spring is installed correct.
Might not be a bad idea to disassemble and reassemble the parts, if necessary.

Back in business - thanks again! Locking lug was just a little dry. A drop of oil took care of that. You've got a pitcher of brew on me if you ever find yourself in LA Reedo.
