Congrats again.

Leave it to z00 to critique how someone impregnates their wife.

I think you, trashcan, and myself (def behind you two) show what a ton of food can do. We're all making pretty good progress and would be no where without eating like this.

This is very true, I've seen some pretty awesome progress when I switched from eating chicken and vegetables to red meat/pork and potatoes and or rice, I have so much more energy and am getting stronger much faster. I could stand to eat more at lunch but what I'm doing seems to be working.

With some added cardio I hope to see some pretty decent progress over the next couple months.

Eating, without a doubt is the most difficult thing to do IMO. Going to the gm for me is easy. It's that eating that's tough! And you're right. The kitchen is the name of the game. I've seen people at my gym for over a year and they look and lift exactly the same as they did a year ago. Maybe that's their goal, maintenance and I'm wrong.

I couldn't agree more. It sucks man. The preparation annoys me lol. It's no wonder people stay the same.

Yeah if I could peal this layer if fat off my body I think I'd look pretty good.

And I am also not a fan of food prep, although it gives me something constructive to do on Sunday mornings. I need to start buying more food for dinners though, it's only Wednesday and I am almost through 5 lbs of potatoes and 6+ lbs of pork.

nice man. I def think I'd look ok. My arms are still kind of small. 15". I don't do anything for them specifically though. It may help it may not. Just chin ups, rows, push ups, press etc.

Same here, I don't do anything specifically for arms either, not sure what they measure though.

Sorry about the minor thread jack.

I rarely do isolation on the arms except skull crushers after inclined dumbbell. Other than that I keep to heavy big muscle groups for arms. Heavy back and chest stuff.

Ahem. Just because I don't post all my meals. Mike always leaving me out.

I even started meal prepping for work, shifted almost all my shopping to Trader Joe's and have been focusing on eating 5 times a day with plenty of healthy snacks.

And again, CONGRATS on the twins!

5x5 squat: 165lbs

bent bar thing skull crushers supersetted with standing curls
4x10 80lbs

hammer curls supersetted with single dumbbell overhead extension
4x10 35lbs(each); 85lbs respectively

cable curl superset tricep push down with flat bar thing

MpoweredM: Just another progress thread...

So much food lately! Weighed in at 182 yesterday morning. 180 this morning. First time in the 80s!

Yesterday:

Squat: 175lbs 5x5 (still doing my progression reset thing)

Lunges: 115lbs 5x5

Standing body weight calf raise: 2x20
Seating calf raise: 90lbs 3x10
Standing barbell calf raise on smith machine: 225lbs(if it was a free weight barbell) 4x10

Extension: 205 4x10

TODAY:

New PR on bench. 265lbs
95x10
135x10
185x5
225x1
245x1
255x1
260x1
265x1
270 fail

Incline BB: 155lbs 5x5

Skull crusher 70lbs 4x10

Some cable flys and some cable tricep variations

Also I'm going to start hitting my hip abductors a lot more often. I think that's what really lacking for my squats. They tense up during heavy lifts.

I posted some food intake in the what did you eat thread. Pretty much the same everyday right now. I cook a bunch of chicken, salmon, steak and eggs every morning when I'm up with the little ones.
