Best option for non M ECU tuning HELP!!!!!!

So for those that have followed my build, I have had all kinds of trouble with stock ecu tuning. Probably too many hands in the cookie jar at this point.

I have done an extensive search for an effective management system. I need a piggy back system.

AEM FIC (tried, ECU is too smart)
HPF AEM V2 - not paying $1000 to unlock (plus purchase price)
HALTECH - doesn't control dual vanos
MORISTECH - doesn't control dual vanos (and no tuner - more important)
ViPEC - way out of budget!!!!

MAP ECU 3 - appears to be a great product, but no one has tuning experience with it.

I'm familiar with proEFI but they are also very expensive.

Are there any other options?

I personally...would put the car back to stock...sell the parts...buy an M3 and throw the MaxPSI kit on it...with all the trouble you've had I mean this is bullet proof setup that you can enjoy for a loooong ass time.

Hahaha...yea, that's the feeling of all you M3 guys!!! I refuse, plus i like the facelifted look, so next option, lol. I enjoy the challenges and learning (typically expensive lessons). This friggin ECU is the last part of this build, too close to the finish line to turn back now.

You've got to be getting frustrated, as this project has been dragging on now for over a year stuck on the tuning.

Have you contacted Jordan (RK Tunes) on BFc?

I have no ecu suggestion unfortunately...the ProEFI will take you down a road of pain and the only other options are going to cost you 5-10k for a professional install...not worth it IMO. If so then contact Neel @ Apex Speed Tech and see if he wants to take your stuff on...but it's not going to be cheap.

Honestly, at this point I'm probably going to try the map ECU 3.

Anyone know of any success stories with the AEM series2 standalone (still wire Paralel)?

I know HPF uses a version of this management system.

HPF uses the Series 1 EMS...they do not have a Series 2 setup...their version 2 is just a Series 1 AEM with different plugs which they call a V.2

Wait a second..... what exactly is the issue your having with the tuning?. I built a custom SC kit and use a VF tune and the car runs fine. Afr, boost, oil temp, coolant temp all good. Only had to change out injectors to make sure the car ran a bit more rich.

Yea, I think im a little more custom than what u have. I have a more agressive cam, TS vs centrifical, 15psi pulley, larger throttle body (the size I have is huge for tuning), methanol, etc....there are very little similarities between our set ups. What made your set up custom?

Equally important to it running as is....I need to be able to tune for the turbo in addition to the current set up...
