Let me know when you get the trans mounts tested. I've got some fresh OEM mounts I'd love to throw on the classifieds as well!

We're waiting for the tranny mounts to become available. Lots of people on M3forum have positive reviews on the VT mounts.

Which ones? So far I've only talked to a few with the road mounts. I'm sure you will goto the comp mounts cuz you will be changing from solid so either way it will be way better, I'm switching from stock mounts cuz I have not found anything I like, the last poly mount I used I ripped in half lol

So far VT hasn't released the tranny mounts yet...waiting. Most likely comp version I will go with.

What complaints are you guys having with oem mounts? I prefer using oe engine mounts. For trans mounts the oe ones work good especially with the enforcer cups. I have been unimpressed with every poly engine mount, and the only issue with the oe engine mounts are they compress with time. There are several nice trans mounts, but most of them add nvh to an otherwise vibration-free car.

My oe mounts last two years about. To the point where steering rack starts hitting cross frame when I hit bumps the compress with little time once you have some good power

Rear has OEM diff and powerflex subframe bushings. Engine and tranny are solid atm but will switch to VT hybrids eventually.

Mike, the VT mounts do not use polyurethane in their construction, they use a natural rubber type compound encapsulated in an aluminum body which pretty much translates 0 additional NVH. Myself, and dozens of others, are currently running these mounts w/100% positive feedback so far...there simply doesn't seem to be any downside to this product. They were actually developed specifically for FI guys...some who were reporting issues w/tearing the O.E. mounts.

On another note, I've been updating the progress (or lack thereof) of the trans. mounts over on M3F, and after my beta testing is complete (assuming it goes ok)...I'll start another group buy and extend it to E46Fanatics this time.

I had Bimmerworld solid rubber for 2 weeks, OEM M3 for almost a year and now I have these

They feel amazing!

have been using the Rogue Rubber Trans Bushings the whole time too. Only complaint was with the Bimmerworld MM's, to much vibration.

Feels like my car got more quiet with these in there, my flywheel chatter sounds different too, in a good way...

Where did you order them? Assuming you got the road version? I have to order a set and replace these hpf solid motor and tranny mounts.. Probably go with stock tranny mounts what are all you other FI guys running?
