E46 Top not closing. Clicking noises

Hi,
Here is a document to fix the top of E46. I had a problem won my 330ci where the top would either come all the way to the front windshield but won't close or or sometimes the storage lid won't close and the the top will just stop in the middle. The dealer wanted $179 for diagnostics. I have created a step by step document to resolve this issue. Let me know if it works for you.

I have got the same problem on mu 320ci. Will definitely test it.

Really good info.. the guy that is making that gear for you? Maybe publish his info if we wants the work from other folks too?

Just to let the people know, the black box does not get any power in my system.

So the problems can also occur if there is a lack of power to the black box which regulates it.
