In addition, the above comment makes my statement even MORE true. A loaded 135i for $56k or a normal Cayman for $56k?

Now tell me how stupid I was for throwing the Cayman in the mix.

To each their own. My comment certainly did not need criticism in the first place.
i didn't say you're stupid for throwing a cayman in there as i think it's also comparable to the 2 cars mentioned. i don't look at the price when comparing cars in the same class. if a cheaper car is comparable to it's more expensive counterpart and beats it in that category then i look at is as a bonus. comparing the 370 or 135 to a lexus gs or a bmw 7 series would be stupid.

I think the 135 looks like a squeezed m3 making it look ugly as fuk. But that's just me... And a good portion on the Mercedes Benz community

Dude, you're talking about track, fastest, and brakes? So did you build a base Z, and add floormats, cargo nets, etc?

You're right, you know it all.

You can get a Vette for 43K, why the hell would you buy a Nissan Z? The GT-R > all BMW products, Porsche > all BMW products. You'd have to try hard to sell me a newer BMW to be honest.

Lol

Sitting in a GTR felt no different than sitting in my old Nissan Titan. As the guy at the Nissan parts counter said, poor mans Porsche.

I know you are going to flip out but let me remind you that the Z3 is not exactly a heralded car in BMWs history.

I know your car is fast, etc. (for a non-m Z3), and I also know that the only BMWs I'd buy new are now old (E92, E82). However, that doesn't make Nissan any better than the true shiit that they are.

The guy at the parts counter was just being down to earth. Not sure how I'm a "joke"? I'm not the one with the "derp" humor gif in my sig.

Agreed. I think some find more pedigree in the P-Car however. Like buying a cat or dog IMO.

i dunno hard call, If I were in your shoes I would l pick up the nissan if your still <25 as I think it would be more fun, much easier n cheaper to mod. Vs the BMW as it on the lower end of the toelum pole and you'll always wish you had something more.

Of course he is. Again, the GT-R has been smacking the **** out of BMW since the early 90s, no surprise that this new one is too.

In fact, the Japanese as a whole have always had a one up on the Germans. Lexus LS vs Mercedes S Class, Supra/GT-R vs Porsche, VQ vs M52, Si vs GTI, WRX/EVOLUTION vs R32.
