[ASK] E46 330i guide support replacement
So i just bought ultra racing strut bar from my friend, to be fitted on my 2004 e46 330i. However when i tried to install the strut bar, it didnt fit (the bolts weren't aligned with the strut bar holes). then i did a little bit research and apparently the both "pins" on the top mounts has gone missing (see pic) causing the bolts moved from their original position. Furthermore when i removed the nuts i can see that the bolts were not in center, they are more like leaning inward to the engine. Do you guys think if i replace the top mount, i would be able to install the strut bar ? Also i talked to one of the service advisors at bmw dealer, they recommend changing guide support with part number 31336752735. However as far as i am aware, the part number should be 31336760943 for e46 with production date after 11/2003 ? i ask them again about this however they said the 31336752735 is the right one for my car ??? What are the differences between those parts ?
