Which Viper alarm should I install? 5701 or 1002?

Hey, I'm looking to purchase an alarm system for my bimmer and after searching around I seemed to notice the brand name Viper mentioned a lot. The general consensus seems to be that they're a pretty reliable brand. I'm not looking for the most expensive alarm just one that will RELIABLY alert me if ****ed iwht, has a keyless entry, and will make my clown nose blink? Which of these alarms should I be installing? Are there any other alarms you guys suggest?

just go with the oem alarm, you can easily wire up a DEI shock sensor if you wish. should be <$175 for parts (interion sensor, alarm siren, and tilt sensor. If you buy them separately keep in mind there are two types of sirens, the electronic beep and the wolf whistle, and our alarm parts are interchangeable with the e39
