No Fap has changed my life.......serious.

I quit masterbating on Feb 1st 2012, my goal was to go 1 month, I have now almost gone 3 months.

Before I had anxiety, depression, always lazy, it was a struggle to get out and face the day. Avoided a lot of social situations unless I was drunk. Then I found this thread. http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...&highlight=fap


I have tons of energy, when I look in the mirror i feel like my skin has a glow to it. I joined a gym and started lifting weights, my lifts have been progressing like crazy. I run at least 1 mile a day right when I wake up. Social situations are a breeze. When walking around in public I feel so powerful, I feel like I can talk to anyone and do anything at anytime. I have noticed girls checking me out.

And my sexual performance is crazy now.

I was a pretty big porn/jerk off fanatic for years before this, probably 8-9 years of daily porn viewing and masterbating at least once per day. It was hard to kick the habbit, but i suggest it to anyone.

I started to read the science behind "no fap" www.yourbrainonp o r n com ( take out spaces)

and it makes so much sense. My mind was literally blown.

I am far from some right wing conservative religious freak. But porn and masterbation in this day and age is very very bad for you.

Been 3 months.
Feel like I can take over the world.
Finally solved my anxiety problem.

How does this apply to those within relationships?

All I know is that teens today are starting to turn to viagra largely as a result of over exposure to p0rn on the net.... that is pitiful.

As for this premise, my guess is that the lack of fapping forces you to direct energy elsewhere so you get in the gym. The lack of "relieving yourself" has your brain more motivated to talk to more chicks. The gym is giving you more confidence in yourself and the more conversations with chicks leads to more interactions with them.. and the lack of relief has you likely more satisfied when with a real chick instead of your keyboard.

So you could say that it's all a placebo as there is no real chemical change.. rather just your behavior has changed as a result of the lack of fapping and you're more satisfied with the outcome (better you, more time with women, better sex).

So the better lifestyle isn't a result of no fapping.. rather, it's the side effect.

Are you sure you'e not working out more because you have more time since you're not fapping all the time? You probably don't feel depressed because you don't feel like such a loser for only getting off to porn instead of women IRL. It's cool you found motivation to not be as big of blight on society however.

Here's your problem F2B, you're conducting an experiment with two variables. Your experiment, therefore, is inconclusive at best, and non-attributable to your hypothesis (not fapping solves XYZ problems) at worst.

But I'm glad your performance has increased. So what, you've effectively doubled your ability to not have sex?

You potentially have a third variable in there as well: how much are you drinking now?
