Jeb Corliss Accident

The crazy wingsuit pilot who is responsible for videos such as "Grinding the Crack" smacked a rock at 90MPH this morning.

I don't know how, but he somehow had the presence of mind to recover full flight, deploy his parachute, and land as normally as one can with two shattered legs. He is currently in intensive care.

I'm starting to think this guy is immortal.

Just making sure I'm thinking clearly: Same guy who did that crazy wingsuit video where he flew between the balloons at 5" off the surface of some rocks?

Yeah, it's the same guy. He was actually attempting the same stunt, he had some balloons tied to that rock. Went a little low.

After this, getting the guts of his friend sprayed all over himself, and being eaten by crabs (I believe that was him) I think I would give the gig up.

Hope he recovers

Lots of people have landed without a canopy. The tricky part is not getting hurt doing it

As for the crabs, it may not be Jeb, but I remember a story of a BASE jumper who crashed into a cliff while jumping off a waterfall. He broke his leg and some other things, and wound up landing on the shore of a river. While he was lying in the water waiting for rescuers to get to him crabs were picking at his wounds.

I have seen this guys videos before. While they are awesome, I am not surprised. The real question is how did he make it this long with out killing himself?

part of the rush is avoiding accidents like this. eventually they are bound to happen if you keep pushing the limits.
