Am I too negative?

I really cant post this under GD because I never post there, this is firearms related to a extent.

I'm a member of several forums, I usually lurk the tech sections when I need to find some repair info but for the most part I hang out in the gun sections. One of the forums that I'm on is a moped forum, They have a firearms section but literally 2% of its members post there, your lucky to get 2 new threads a week.

So a new thread pops up, a admin started the thread about sons of guns and a 10/22 stock they are coming out with, along with alittle note saying that this is a "tailo" (I use another name) free zone do to negativity. I make the first post saying its not much more than a standard clamshell stock, not suprissingly several hours later my post is MIA.

Now, I view myself as objective...When somebody made a thread a few days ago asking about what was so special about the zombie version of the LCP...I told them that it was a $50 sticker and a book thats going to get lost in 10 minutes. I give a honest opinion of the subject as I usually do. Seems like my posts are being edited if I do anything but give a raving review, really starting to piss me off.

So, am I a negative person for not being awed by a clam shell stock or a zombie sticker? Dumba** moped drivers.

where in virginia are you? I want to come see your collection

oh, and I notice the same thing on a lot of other forums, an overwhelming sense of "I have to be nice to everybody on this forum". It's a bit annoying giving an honest opinion of someone's ugly car and getting flamed for it.

Negative? No. You know what you are talking about and portray that in a no nonsense format.

OT - were they referring to a PS90 clamshell? I actually thought that was pretty cool for a plinker.

IMHO its a total fail. I'm not a fan of the 1022 at all but it deserves more respect than a dress up kit. As much press as they can give this thing at the end of the day its still nothing more than a airsoft shell to make a $200 rifle look like something its not.

Break down what your looking at, follow the lines of the gun, how in the world is a optic going to hold a zero mounted to a rail thats literally split in two and not attached securly to the reciever.

I would be far more impressed with them coming out with a new trigger pack/bolt/barrel....anything but that.

The ZK22 is the gun equivilent of this:

Red Jacket SUCKS! They are stooges at best.

Why would you want to be on a Gun Talk section of a MOPED forum?

I always wanted a mini-bike. The kids down the street used to ride in the empty lots, and I was always extremely jealous.

If having an informed opinion is considered "negative" then be as negative as you want here man. I'm here to learn, not have my tampon changed for me.

Red Jacket is the "short bus" of gun companies. Most people can't handle that since they're emotionally invested in their believe that jackass companies like RJ will save them from the mythical zombie apocalypse.

You are posting on the wrong forums. You will get responses like that. I post gun stuff on a few car forums, guns are like cars so they kinda go hand in hand...mechanical way. But like cars, some people do not work on them and talk crap, just like guns. The internet is like the video game world. My gun world is at the range.....that is where reality and fantasy are totally different. People could care less about who your friends are, what car your drive or what gun you shoot. It is just you and the target. Ahhhhh....the range...just you and the target. One one one.

My Ride: What else?
I didn't even know there were Moped forums.....and I certainly wouldn't associate Moped owners with guns.

Most of the Moped owners around here are pretentious, save-the-world type yuppies...(not that there's anything wrong with that)

I also know better than to stereotype gun owners though, since we don't all fit the same mold

This was a $4500 moped if that counts! But yes, moped drivers generally piss me off.
