The key to life is moderation. If you're masturbating/watching pr0n excessively and then abstain from it, you're obviously going to feel better. So the problem here isn't simply masturbating, but the notion that doing so extremely often is a normal classification of masturbation. So yes, if you associate masturbation with such high frequency then quitting it is going to produce positive results and make you think masturbating is evil.

Also, the simple fact that you're exercising willpower is going to contribute to your well being. We've all had those points in our lives where we motivate ourselves to stay healthy, go to the gym, cut a bad habits, stay on top of our ****; simply mustering the mental strength to do these things will create make you feel like the man.

For those of you who have already convinced yourselfs on no fapping, we both know such a thing cannot last forever. And when you do finally fap, you're going to have a great deal of guilt and make yourself feel bad for "breaking". And that perceived guilt is whats going to make you feel like ****, not the actual act of fapping...

But I guess if you were born with extremely low levels of testosterone, you would try to hold on to as much as you can...

If you're fapping simply because you can (home alone/access to pr0n/nothing else to do) then YES it is wrong. And lets admit it, this is what usually happens. But if you have a real natural urge to blow a load, every piece of ass you're walking by is driving you crazy, then fap away guilt free. If you get this urge 3 times a week or only 3 times a month, then this is the correct amount of times you should fap (given that you don't have a slam piece at your disposal).

On the other hand, the excessive pr0n arguement makes a great deal of sense.

Do most people on this forum likely have a 'problem' that results from this? No. Can people POTENTIALLY benefit from minimizing or eliminating that type of behavior all together? Perhaps.. only one way to find out. Day 5 is going juuuuust fine so far.
