Its a frosted plexi glass port that blows through the rear decklid into the cabin. Its a bandpass style box so I can pump the music with the trunk open at shows because its a Sony Demo car. The guys at Xclusiv Autosports did a stellar job.

Gorgeous car though!
youd be surprised. With the right subwoofer enclosure any speaker can sound amazing. I was hesitant at first but I gave Sony and Xclusv Autosports the benefit of the doubt and I was (and still am) astonished how great this system performs. I have absolutely no regrets. Thanks for the kind words. YOur car is gorgeous btw, Love PY!

I'll second that! It sounds amazing in the car, and it is astonishingly quiet from the trunk with it open or closed. Zero rattles.

Very nice ride. I'd like to do that to my 330ci but maybe buy a M3 in 3 years.

What bracket did you use to install the HKS SSQV? I have a Greddy to HKS adapter that I got from treadstone (http://www.treadstoneperformance.com...+Valve+Adapter) and it pops off everytime I rev the engine. I can't figure out why it's not staying on. Any thoughts?

I got the same bracket from treadstone. You need to make sure the C-clip is really snapped into place and one side of the clip is tapered so you may have it in there backwards.

Never saw this thread up until now for some reason. Wow- I didn't realize the latest gen AA kits were this powerful- the MaxPSI dyno is very unforgiving so that's seriously one powerful car- @ what rpm does it hit full boost? What kind of fuel was used?

Overall a very clean car, awesome! I was the LSB coupe to your right pulling into the eurofest gates .

After I read your response, I double checked, and you were right; the bracket wasn't fully in place. Now it is, and it doesn't go anywhere! Do you have another HKS SSQV placed under the plenum? I have a dual BOV setup and was curious if AA still does that on their newer generation kits.

AA did your tune I am assuming?

That hks valve is my least favorite to install. That snap ring is impossible to get on without losing blood.

I can not agree with you more! Before I put the rubber o-ring in the adapter, I just put the BOV on the metal insert to see if the C-Clip actually does fit into the grooves. It fit perfectly. Only problem was, that I had to take it off now to put the rubber seal in.

I cut my fingers multiple times, busted part of the nail on my thumb. It is an absolutely b!tch to take out!

Thanks man. Im sure I saw your car at eurofest. I only put 93 octane in the car, Id be curious what kind of numbers it would make if i added some race fuel in. I believe full boost is a hair under 8k rpm. Not 100% sure on that.

You'll hear it click when the C-clamp snaps into place, its a ***** to get in. I run the active greddy style on the underside of the manifold. I like the HKS SSQV up front because it looks nicer than the AA BOV, also I like the quick distinct "PSSHH" noise it makes. Its not too loud and not too quiet, just enough to show you mean business haha. Yes, active tune.

I did not walk away from my install without shedding DNA. Good luck

Ahhh coulda hit 500whp if you didn't have the heavy sound system in the trunk

Just kidding though man, the car is obviously VERY enjoyable regardless, solid numbers for sure. Enjoy it!

I don't think he's spinning on the dyno in any gear, unless your talking about on the streets then for sure he has some traction issues.
