Well, it wasn't their own gold.

And it was worth a $1 billion at the time... gold value today is almost 6 times what it was then...

So $1,000,000,000 then is worth $5,846,427,636

And not saying it was planned by the government, but, assuming the conspiracy theories are true, some people made a lot of money.

This was the third building that went down at ground zero after the first two came down.

They blew it up with explosives. But it came down nice and neatly.
Normally, when you blow up a building/implode it takes weeks of preparation to survey the bldg and then they cut holes in the support beams and carefully place the explosives and time them so they explode thousandths of a second apart from each other.

And they did this all in one day, actually one afternoon. They imploded a 47 story building that came down perfectly straight, like it had been professionally planned.

And how did they get the explosives and the personnel to do it if the cell phones were inop, bridges and roads were shut down and people were walking? How many people does it take to pull off a job like that successfully and what is the likelihood of gathering the explosives, the right number of people to get it down, emplace the bombs in the exact position and bring it down in a perfect fall ? And do it from start to finish in 3,4 hours.

No one ever asks about building 7, only 1 and 2.

Fixed. The original was 47, the new one is 49. Lots of people talk about WTC 7, the issue is that many people just go along with the official story because they don't bother to look at anything.

I am not saying it was brought down by explosives, but something isn't right. Many people said the building was missing 1/4 of the bottom, and collapsed due to structural integrity loss, but if that is the case, why was there video taken from inside, and further to the point, how did Michael Hess remain in the building until both other towers collapsed, only to be pulled out before it fell?

Funny thing is, I now enjoy the first movie more than any of the other ones. It's got a nostalgic factor the others don't. Ahhh when times were simpler and bodykits and underglow were cool.

One more point....

Why did the plane burn and basically cremate the passengers and crew ?
But....several days after the bombing, an FBI agent 'found' a passport belonging to one of the terrorists sitting on top of all the rubble. Amazing.

Everything else was reduced to cinders and an FBI agent just 'happened' to find a passport identifying one of the terrorists ostensibly linking him to Al Qeda, Saudi Arabia, or whatever story they wanted to sell us.

Think about it. The explosion melted iron, and cremated the passengers and the pilots.
The passport was probably in the pocket of the terrorist, but it survives intact. Laying of top of the debris field.
That is one amazing passport. The people that produce that passport should produce window regulators for our cars. Maybe mine would not have failed me this weekend.

Either that FBI agent is an amazing detective or he planted the passport there and retrieved it later.

I honestly don't know what to think because there are valid arguments coming from both sides. My opinion is that, if the government is lying to us about 9/11, then this is something that was in the works for a long time. Who knows, maybe 5, 10, 15 years in the making. It would be hard to bring down WTC 1,2, and 7 in a control demolition in a few days/weeks unnoticed because it would take a very large workforce and that would be impossible to hide. But lets say they had years to prepare the buildings to bring em down, that can be done by a smaller group of people that could go nearly unnoticed. Maybe we should look at the 9/11 theories from a different point of view. If this truly involved a small amount of people, how long would it take them to get the job done?

the Illuminati was planning it since at least the 15th century.
