I got them off ebay from this company in So-Cal. They were about $40. Excellent quality but the dead pedal is not the correct size. Instead of calling and dealing with return issues i'm just gonna get an M3 dead pedal instead.

You should totally do it! The SMG wheel makes driving a lot more fun!!! Keep your eyes on the classifieds... There are good deals out there haha

I was thinking about putting a m3 steering wheel in my 330i paddles seem a lot more fun than the steptronic shifting, your car is really coming along nicely!

Thanks man! I would definitely recommend the M3 wheel. Much better driving experience.

Couple updates from this week. Stopped by my buddies place and took care of some maintenance.

Got my differential bushings replaced. Old ones were cracked and worn! No more "thunk" sound which is good. Haven't noticed much else driving wise...

Before dropping the exhaust, we noticed some exhaust leaks, so decided to take care of those. Previous exhaust owner didn't do a good job with the seals. Now its all sealed up and taken care of! I feel like it sounds better, but i'm sure its all in my head. haha

Hopefully this weekend I can put on the Koni Yellows

I haven't really found any good write-ups on how to install the paddles to the steptronic shifting wires I heard you need a diffrent clock sping from a m3 and some say you need a special harness/ wiring kit to adapt the shifters

Very clean mods. Planning on doing the SMG steering wheel mod too. Was the wiring hard?

Yes you need an SMG clockspring which is about 70 from the dealer. Also from the dealer you need the small 2 pin adapter that connects to the new clockspring. Then you just extend the wiring from the connectors, feed it down the steering column down into the shifter area and tap into the two wires for the step-tronic. I found a good DIY here before... But after you tap into those 2 wires, the paddles will control the manual mode! Good luck

Thanks!! Wiring was extremely easy and cost less than 5 bucks! But you also need an SMG M3 clockspring...

Tail are OEM. I got them from a auto dismantler. They came off a 2004 E46. The headlight inserts I bought off a member here from a 325ci. I originally painted my silver inserts black, but then found original black ones for cheap so I bought them. If you have anymore questions let me know!
