323I s54 swap Help plz

Okay, i know you have all read this a million times. But I actually am determined to do this. I know what it involves and how much it will cost. I'm not expecting some cheap 10k project. the part i need help with is the custom wiring part. Does anyone know of a clear cut guide to doing this? i mean MITE46 guide was a little tricky to understand. I noticed at one point he mentioned it would be easier to buy a new harness at $2k, But he wanted a challenge. Is it possible just to use an m3 OEM wiring harness? Also I'm doing this to a manual not a SMG so i know theres a short bit of wiring that i wont have to do. Any help is appreciated!
