s54 swap question 323i

do manual transmissions have a unit like the TCU (noob question i know) i assume not but just wanna be sure im currently just in the learning phase of this swap then college (auto mechanics) then job then swap i have gotten the pinouts for the engine (m3 and 323i) part of the swap and cross referenced also does anyone know about the body controls and what would be required for the dme change? any help is greatly appreciated oh ya and sorry for the lack of punctuation im on my phone =P

ya i figured it out late last night what was needed to be done still wondering what about the tranny though

nope bmw 1st car i've owned, and yes tcu you want i should spell it out? fine transmission control unit happy? and yes i am new to bmw....i havent been working on/with them my whole life thats why i asked the question.

its called EGS here.

as for pin out no you need everything for S54 including DME transmission and diff and drive shaft.
can you imagine using the light duty 323 drive train to handle that much power and torque?
