i think if the wheels were brushed finish it would be a different look altogether. that being said, still kinda like it.

Far too low. How are you going to pick up the 2.4 kids from soccer practice with the dog and hatch full of groceries? You'd never make it over the speed bumps.

i like the 2nd set of wheels. i do think that they would look even better in a different finish.

for being different, but not just for the sake of doing so. it works.

and to those who are skeptical, yes, i am being serious.

I wanted to do billet wheels back when I had my GTI. Was skeptical of how it would work on an e46, but I love the way it turned out. Feels good to be hated on for doing something different that most true car guys can respect. The people that don't like it probably weren't around when Billet was hot, have never heard of a "body drop", and don't know the difference between a model A and a Duece. Thats cool, we all come from different backrounds and enjoy different things. I can respect your opinions and saying that it looks like ****.

i completely agree about coming from different backgrounds and enjoying different things.

i certainly don't think that it looks like $hit.

Love the wagon! Very nice and clean! The wheels, definately different, can't say I'm a big fan of them....not ur usual what you see on those for sure! Some will love it some will hate it but at the end of the day if you are happy with what you did to your car that is what is important and what counts! Enjoy it!!!!!

I guess i didnt need to quote it, i was just reiterating what you had said and explaining why I put these wheels on. I totally understood that you like it.

I guess you don't understand what I mean, and I totally can see why. When I say car guys I mean someone who would attend any car show/swap/race, no matter the make/model/era etc. just to be around cars. Car guys go to shows like Goodguys, Pomona Swap Meet, stuff of that nature. They are not keyboard warriors who bash on anything that is not "the ultimate driving machine". BMW enthusiast from what I have noticed are not quite as close minded as some owners but hop into a thread where someone mentions Stanceworks and watch the throngs of ignorant "car guys" come out of the woodwork. Those who get it, get it. Those who don't, well I am sorry, you are missing out on alot of cool people and cars.

Yes I joined this forum when I bought my e46, this site has alot of usefull info and is mostly specific to the E46, plus I like the **** Griffin posts. I am also a member of probably 10 other forums of all kinds of cars.
