Tacoma meet May 13th 2012

Hey guys thought I would spread the word were having a meet on May 13(Sunday)
Were going to meet at the Tacoma mall, towards the back where no one parks

We were also planning on going to Xxx burgers, so any recommendations for another location would be fine. We have approx. 15 to 20 vehicles going but the more the better!

We will meet at 11:00 a.m. and head out at 12:15

No ass hatery will be tolerated

Just trying to spread the word all BMWs welcome

Chris

I might come to this. I have some maintenance to do on the ZHP so that will affect whether or not I come up to see my gf who lives in Puyallup.

I am going to the XXX BMW's & Burgers Meet on June 3rd, however.

https://www.facebook.com/events/265698933525995/

Quote:

It’s that time of the year again where we kick off the car show and meet season with our third annual “Burgers & BMW’s meet at the XXX Root beer Drive Inn in Issaquah, WA.
THE DETAILS
When: June 3rd, 2012 STARTS at 10:00:00am – Goes until everyone leaves!

Where: Triple-X Root Beer in Issaquah (www.triplexrootbeer.com)

Address: 98 NE Gilman Blvd, Issaquah, WA 98027 (Google Map)

What to Bring: Your Camera, and CASH to buy food with. They do not accept cards or checks! Meals run ~$10-15. ATM available inside.

Who is invited: YOU and your friends! You do not need to be a BMW Club Member-just bring your BMW to show it off!

We will have plenty of people taking pictures from all over, so be sure to check back after the meet and post any pictures you have here!

How to get there:
From i-90 (either direction)
- Take exit 17 (Front St)
- Go SOUTH on Front St
- Take a LEFT on NE Gilman Blvd
- BAM, a few hundred feet later, take a left into the parking lot of XXX Root Beer!

There SHOULD be enough parking – beware it may extend into the street and across the street. Please DO NOT block the gas station/store slightly further up the road. — they’ve been known to have over 400 cars at their meets so be prepared for a packed venue. Last year’s event we had approximately 150 cars, it will fill up the lot pretty quick!

I'll probably be there, got nothing better to do. My car isn't show ready, needs to be professionally detailed, so don't hate.

This is true, if I had the time I would. Long story short, I just got here and don't have any of my detailing items or the time, unfortunately. I was hoping to have already gotten it detailed professionally and my windows tinted, but have been busier than I planned. If we're sort of just doing a meet and greet/cruise, then I'm not really worried about it. My definition of dirty may be what others consider acceptable anyways, though I don't see how.

That was fun! Nice meeting you guys! Next time hopefully the mall cops won't be such a pain in the neck when taking pics of our own cars.

Was fun, lost everyone making that U turn, so I just headed south and took care of some other things I needed to do that day. Maybe next time I can get my buddy to bring his M5.
