Engine Swap/ manual conversion

Hi one and all just joined your forum and wish to get some assistance to complete a project. Some back ground info to give you a understanding of what has happened so far.
It is in the shop at present trying to get the coding etc sorted they have managed to get it to crank over but their is no spark so it won't fire up and my patience with them is running out 3-4 months so far but he is doing it on the side for me.
While the motor was in the sedan all was well and it ran fine 3 weeks later the swap over was complete I attempted to start the car all the cluster lights worked but would not crank. Found on u-tube a piece about first start up manual conversion with a ZF5HP19 box which mine had and it fired up all good. Not so fast after 6 start up's it refused to start anymore I contacted the guy on you tube and he said he had been driving on his for months with no trouble. A scan showed that the ews would not accept the key code or recognize the dme. They then tried to loop out the ews part and this failed so reluctantly bought another ews dme ignition key and barrel. The garage concerned are using Auto logic and he has contacts in Australia and England to help him even these blocks don't seem to be getting any were. Have read a number of items about recoding but reading and doing are two different things I have no experience about programming but willing to learn so I'm a bit stuck any assistance would be much appreciated. Have been advised if all goes well this should take no more than 4 to 4.5hrs to complete true or false. Thanks again for any help._a_
