I wonder if this could be a crankshaft position sensor...

Checked fuel pressure at idle and it's 64 psi. So given that its about 8psi short of 5 bar im not sure if that would cause my rich problem but it might mean a new fuel pump if its weak

Thats perfect. What year is that car? how many miles on it? Reach down and play with the cranksensor wire, push it into sensor in a way, see what it does, for some reason the wires crack.... sometimes causing damage and connection problems.

Car is an 03 with 80 k miles the kit has about 20k miles maybe more. Doesn't the kit have a new pump replacing the stock one? So I've already taken the harness out of the car to ship to hpf so I cant test the crank connection

Well I'm sure getting to know this system and how to test it , that's for sure. Its not such a mystery except for my problem.

Hpf said they would do a quick turn around on testing the harness and aem, they will also send me new guages as they may be the problem as there was an intermittent problem with them at HPF and it seemed to fix itself. The problem was they were showing lean when in fact it was normal afr. The computer compensates according to gauge readings as the aem uses the Guages as actual afr and do not use the 02 sensor directly to my understanding.

Well Hpf got my aem and harness. They were able to get it checked out and replaced the ground and power connection tabs. Also replaced
my jumper box They also checked out that the idle was set rich for the Motorsport thermostat so they adjusted for the standard one which I now installed. Also got a new set of plugs as well as a exhaust cam sensor from HPF. They received it today and shipped it out same day. Now that's service. I'll get it Monday and try it all out. Then go from there.

Also got my ballast for my left headlight to get that working. Hopefully this resolves all my major concerns and I'll be able to register and license the car and enjoy driving it.

Here is a synerio I think might be my problem given some of the great feedback from this forum. Using the motorsport thermostat and clutch fan along with a rich aem cold start settings and with my cold temperatures here that the car runs rich and never gets warm enough and after 10 min of stop light driving the engine loads up with fuel fouling the colder plugs and starts to stall. the problem is worsened when the car is not being driven hard not Getting enough heat.
I drive it harder and it was warmer when I first got it. It also stalled but less frequently with the new plugs as well.

So I'm hoping the idle enrichment changes and the thermostat change and new plugs will solve my problem. We will see. Fingers crossed

Just waiting for the delivery of my updated aem and harness should be in an hour or so. I have a new exhaust censor and am having hard time getting to the 5mm bolt. Still working on that. Well got everything from hpf changed the plugs, aem installed wireing harness and jumper box. The car ran badly as if the map sensor was bad As i thought the map sensor that was shipped was defective. So I'm having one shipped ASAP!
