I would totally dig a vert with 600+ hp smg even if it came with a few hiccups.

It just reminds us after a few years to double check connections,evaluate components, couplers, checking for oil residue in elbows and pipes, kinks, etc, etc. on high powered vehicles with FI.

I know his gauges stand out, but he was very innovative on the setting up of custom gauges. Its cool you already got which ones you want sorted out, and cosmetic damage is just that.

I would like to see the sideskirt, as if its just some scrapes and scratches I will pick it up from you for a fair price.

You got a hell of a deal on the car, Rob gave you an amazing deal. You bought the car for less than the kit cost. Just enjoy the car! Welcome to the HPF family.

Why would you say that. The car was inspected by HPF, only afterwards did he want more money off. The price of the car was less than the 2.5 installed price, so basicly he bought a 2.5 and the car was free.

You can't sell something thinking that mindset. The buyer expected damaged items and issues disclosed.

It's BS to think otherwise.

It's like calling a car mint and then when the buyer is upset it has dull paint and a torn up interior adding in "well it's mint for it's age and mileage"

Mint is a timeless condition...

I don't really care what kind of deal he got for it...he could've paid 10k for all I care...the OP purchased a car in "X" shape...gets car inspected in "Y" shape...recieves a car that is actually in "Z" shape...and now the seller is not even having the courtesy to reply to the man or apologize for selling him a car in "Z" shape.

It could've been a friggin civic for all I care...its buyer/seller relations and this looks bad. Not to mention the poor OP prolly had to pay duty on all these replacement pieces as well...CANADIAN DUTY IS NOT CHEAP!

No he just shelled out thousands on a car he knew nothing about

. So it is very relevant. They used escrow to finish the sale, after everything was clear the buyer paid for the car. Suddenly he wants more money back after the deal closed. Not buying it, HPF inspected the car as a 3rd party. The buyer knew exactly the condition of the car, if in doubt he could have drove the 4 hours to portland to see it first hand.

I started this thread so that some might learn
From "MY MISTAKES".

I made my choices and am prepared
To live with them. I still got a good deal but at the same time it has been disappointing and costing more time and money than I had planned or budgeted. I still liked dealing with the seller and I know he is going thru a ruff time and I can understand that. For all I know he has changed his phone and email and has no clue to the other issues that came up after initial inspection by HPF. He was very easy to work with when problems came up and I was hopeing that would continue as I had agreed prior with him that any issues that were found we would taken care of. I was very thorough with my agreement. My work situation / timing did not alow me the ability to see the car in person. So I took it in faith and these r my lessons I wanted to share

Stage 2.5 with labor is $30,000.
New differential $5,000.
