My Ride: 04 330ci M Package
My First Post

Hi everyone, got a lot of good information off you guys in the past so I thought I'd join up finally.
Anyway, there is a 05 330ci M-package II (confirmed by vin) build date 05/2005 that i am interested in and just had a few questions..

1.) it has manual seats with alcantara, are the late model e46's pre-wired for power seats?
2.) this car does not have the hk sound system, but i still have my hk amp and sub from my previous car. Is it a simple swap in?
3.) Did the M package receive the short shifter as well or just the weighted shifter knob?

Welcome to the forum, this site is a wealth of knowledge that has saved me thousand's of dollars as far as your questions

1.I'm not sure but I think they are, the harness is the same on every car so you would think that the power connector would be there.
2. You should be able to swap those right in
3. I have a ZHP and my car does not have the short shifter, so I don't think the M sport would have it either. Maybe a weighted shift knob

I also forgot to mention that it does have heated seats. From the info i gathered the older e46's did not have the power at the connector nor a terminal at the fuse box, although those were on cars that were leatherette and non-heated. I have not had a chance to drive the car yet but it does have a weighted shifter from the pics, just unsure of the short throw.
