yea, but those cameras usually cut way down on features vs the stock camera.

Google/Samsung are breathing a sigh of relief after yesterday. Microsoft even more so probably lol.

I'm sure the Galaxy sales are going to continue to be strong. Can't wait to see a head to head comparison with the new iphone though.

debating on a gs3. was waiting for the droid razr maxx hd but they pushed it back to november and im using a pos blackberry from 2008 in the meantime. the data sync cable doesnt even connect to my computer so i cant update the firmware or get the appworld on it. i really want to wait for the maxx hd but everything on the internet about motorola goes something like "if i was a terrorist, id destroy all parts of your company. you guys are terrible"

dont know what to do

I'm guessing you're on Verizon. Look at the Droid RAZR M. Compare it to the GS3. Motorola makes good phones. Its the closest thing you'll get (right now) to the RAZR HD

Just wait it out the next couple months if at all possible. We're due for a Nexus replacement(s) as well. Possibly something new from HTC. Verizon has been pretty stagnant other than the S3, so this fall there should be a lot of new models being released.

That Google Nexus 5 coming out in November is gonna be sick. 5" screen, 2gb ram, f/1.8 cam, 2800mAh batt. I may have to give the GS3 to the wife.

battery life on the s3 is concerning and the razr m comes with a pentile screen im worried about what people are saying about motorolas customer support. people with bionics, atrix and other phones really got screwed over when it came to OS updates. motos also supposed to have the worst customer dedication too

u can tweak to get much better battery life, but i agree out of the box, it blows.

-turn off auto adjust screen
-install a battery app (i use juice defender)

with only those two tweaks i can easily make it 2-3 days of moderate use. also remember this phone is a hardware powerhouse, so it does use a lot of juice. wish they gave us a bigger stock battery, even at the expense of "sleakness".

thats why im debating waiting another 2 months for the droid razr maxx hd....dont want to worry about battery life at all. but given all thats going on with motorola and how theyre treating people now, is that a risky bet? ive had an s2 before and samsung has good support. at least with an s3 i know that my purchase is backed by the company

I have an original DroidX from Moto.. and OS updates took FOREVER and a day to get.. plus being with Verizon doesn't help either as they get their grubby little hands on the OS and have to load it with their crapware.

I'm considering a GS3 but i think i'm going to hold out for the Note 2.. i think the larger screen and pen will make the phone more productive for me day to day.

yeah, just go on motorolas facebook page and read some of the posts. people are beyond furious with them. another thing is that motos customer support doesnt seem to help at all if something does go wrong with the phone. ugh, not particularly impressed with build quality on the s3 for being a premium device. dont know what to do here
