Not sure what you mean. Wash your projectors? People do swap out there lenses for the ZKW lenses.

The projectors are made of plastic or glass. If it's glass, they should be washable. Thanks

The projector lenses are made of glass. If you have ZKW lights then the bowls are made of plastic. If you have AL lights then the bowls are made of metal. Yes, you can dis-assemble the lights and wipe off the projector lenses.

I don't know about calling them a direct replacement but they are being used as bowls for retrofitting in replacement of the ZKW burnt bowls.

Yes, the AL's have three wires. The ZKW's have two wires.
