Once you know how the various BB suits fit (and what your size ought to be), you can get some pretty great deals on the website when they have closeout sales. I've got everything I need (and then some), so I don't swoop in and buy anything unless I really like it and it's a great deal.

I went in this weekend and tried a few. Regent has styling I like and fits like a glove. I odered them a little long and an extra inch in the waist, leave room for tailoring on the pants I figure.

Perfect. It's always better to have a little extra fabric than not quite enough.

This is a bit of a modern design for this thread. Half the suits/blazers you guys post up in here look dated to me.

I like subtle pinstripes, but not like huge fat racing stripes. Will letcha know when it comes in how it looks

I will probably be corrected, but pinstripes seem way old man ish to me. I have one pinstripe suit, but they are micro stripes and not as bold as the ones posted.

The suit is black. Congrats on your new position as a maitre d', undertaker, or priest.

Black pinstripe does not scream modern to me, what so ever.

the only time i think pinstripes are okay, are chalk stripes, and that goes along with my contrast collar/cuff thing... it's a very specific person/environment needed to pull it off. that kind of pinstripe reminds me of exactly one kind of person... middle office asians that tell people they work in "investment banking." actually, when putting it like that... VillanovaGrad is exactly the kind of person that would wear that suit.

I'm torn on what pair of shoes to get.....currently I've got this in rotation:

AE Strands in walnut
Johnston Murphy cap toe's in black (balmoral)
Johnston Murphy burgundy mid-wings

I'm thinking about a pair of dark brown AE Fifth Ave's since I don't have any dark brown in rotation, or possibly the Delray in dark brown, or the Kenilworth in bourbon, or the McCalister in black, or the Larchmont (long wing) in black or dark brown......any thoughts?

Oops. I took it off when I got home. It was a really muted paisley in browns and greens and a touch of black. I wore it with my new brown plaid jacket, green v-neck, white shirt, grey slacks, and AEs. I thought it looked very seasonally appropriate.

We actually stopped by the Lands End section at our local Sears last night to get a new blazer for my son. They had their hopsack blazers for about 80 bucks, so we grabbed one along with some pants and a tie for him. My wife took them to the register and the sales person told us about the online sale and actually got online right there, scanned each of the items in and found it online, and saved us a few bucks. I wound up buying some cords I found at the store at the same time and got them for about 25 bucks. All in all we wound up saving about 50 bucks. It was nice.
