And regent pants are one inch smaller in the waist

You pick a jacket based on how it fits your shoulders
Then chest
Waist is a non-issue since it is a common alteration and jackets are made to accommodate a wide range of body types

sure they could... just invent a time machine so they could start the company 150 years ago. people pay for heritage with these things.

Find descendant of a random shoemaker from the 1800s who can be verified by some source
(Some old newspaper ad or something in some little town)
Then do a good job of embellishing everything and run a PR campaign and build shoe company around that shoemaker's name

People pay for a perception of heritage.

What Ed said is generous. Hollister and 1922 have no relationship other than a 1990s fabricated idea.

It's sort of cold here right now. Most days we're in the mid-50s, which is cold enough for me to wear a sweater. Keep in mind that the merino sweaters I wear are so thin that they're almost see-through. They provide (for me) just the right amount of warmth to keep the edge off the cold.

Also: my office is routinely about 62 degrees. Our HVAC system has issues, I guess.

62?! Paradise!

My office has been running about 82. Maintenance just fixed the problem today.

I wish I were wearing a sweater today. Ever since the cold snap that occurred on Sunday night/Monday morning, my office (just my office, not the rest of the floor) has been 60ish and the vents are blowing cold air.

I usually run warm to hot but I'm freeeeezing

Gah. I would die.

I usually like it at 62 but some days it gets to be too much. Sometimes when I leave my fingertips feel like they're turning blue.

Although when Ed was here he could probably tell that my wife and I are at each other's throats pretty much 24/7. I'm sure it was awkward for him as a visitor.

See also: constantly yelling at my kids.
