Although I'm sure epaulet pants are great, I am going to wait til I get a chance to try it on for myself before buying
Hopefully RL has some pants on sale
I remember the purple label wool pants being pretty much perfect in fit and quality ... just couldn't afford them

I'm selling two pair of Epaulet Factory Find pants (Air Force flannel and navy twill) if you're interested.

They are fantastic pants but back still got too much back for them to fit properly in the heavier fabrics.

I have nothing useful to add except to say this looks very nice. The material should look good, too. I bought a Belstaff Roadmastet (similar design) but the material made it look like I was trying to be a tough guy.

I'm thinking these would be decent for the upcoming Key West wedding.

And Dave, I had to google what a Mexican wedding shirt was.....I was picturing something Tommy Bahama-esque under the assumption that you were joking, but it appears to be a short sleeved oxford, right? They look pretty nice.
Yeah, it's an actual thing. I can't imagine wearing one anywhere but a beach wedding, but for that it seems like a natural fit.

You could also wear one if you were the dictator of a banana republic in Central/South America.

it's never, ever, in your adult life, appropriate to coordinate with what your date is wearing. the only time coordinating is appropriate is when you're joking, like at a costume party, or at your high school prom.

You're right, but I still think they would work for a beachy wedding and spring/summer wear afterwards

quality is pretty ****, but 90% of people (maybe 75% in NY) won't know the difference as long as it fits you well.

Super slim and no extreme drops (assuming your waist is >6" less than your chest.)

You're a pretty solidly-built guy, so even though most people here abhor them, you might want to try the good ol' BB Madison fit. You can take in the waist and still have plenty of room in the chest and arms.
