if the pants can be slimmed just a bit around the thighs without getting too tight so it can be a straight line...
that's just my guess
consult a local tailor, might be a $10-15 fix ...
if not, then take it up with mr.ned

and maybe 1/2"-3/4" on the jacket sleeves ... maybe a full inch

also, i don't think what Ed is saying is actually what's happening. i think it's just the way your pants are breaking on top of your clunky dad loafers. different cloths drape, and therefore, break differently. i tend to have all my suit pants/trouser tapered one inch slimmer below the knee to the cuff, with no break. i'm not suggesting you do this. i'm just saying.

there is definitely something going on with the pants though
and it's not draping properly

I think it's also that you wear them when you are able to tell people to go to hell.

Dave, for example, appears to be in such a position (as I believe he owns the firm or is a partner.) I, on the other hand, am a peon and could not wear them to work.

Aside from the "oh, you're right they are lime green with lobsters," there's also the "oh, you don't like my lime green lobster pants? Go to hell."

It seems, to me, that they are tapered solely below the knee, making it look like you have bodybuilder legs. I'd say the upper leg needs to be slimmed a bit.

I'd take about .5-1.0" taken off the sleeves.

Here's a little article that I think sums them up well:

Tusting. I've had mine for many years. Looking at their website, it looks like they have gone up substantially in price.

Very nice.

I'm in the market for a leather briefcase. Billy Kirk is close to the top of my list.

In spite of the stupid name, the Schoolboy Satchel. I love how it looks but I'm worried it might be too small.

I really like the clean, uncluttered exterior. If I decide it's too small I may look at Saddleback.

I like it, and I don't have any problem with the name--it is what it is.
