You should! My narrow feet won't fill those out.
I have a similar feeling, except for a wide fitting.

Dealing with Alden is probably similar to negotiating with Somali pirates.

Have you dealt with Shoe Mart before? I emailed them asking about narrow widths for the LHS or the LWB in ravello, cigar or whiskey. If I don't get anywhere with them I think I'm going to move on which is a shame as those two shoes (LHS and LWB) are the best looking of their types, in my opinion.

My Ride: 2011 BMW 135i

Untitled by lucasmax12, on Flickr

Bayfields all shined up today. I'm continually impressed with these seeing as they cost me $165. They got soaked in Amsterdam on NYE and were worn basically every day while we were on vacation. I came back, threw a coat of reno on there and polished the cap toe with AE chili paste and voila....good as new.

I have the exact same one. Bought it from Walmart. Very sturdy and looks nice in my closet (hardwood floors).

Landsend.com
Men's
Sale page
Shirts
Show by price
It may just show the $19 or so for the other sale shirt.. but clearance price shows when you select the green check shirt
Might be gone from the site but there are also things on sale so worth a look from time to time

http://www.landsend.com/pp/mens-tail...250700_-1.html

It was this shirt
But the green check is gone now
And there is no extra discount code at the moment
So just browse and save stuff to your cart there should be a 30% off all or 40% off one item code by next week

TSM is great. The problem is, if you want something non-standard, good luck. They still have to deal with Alden.

Searching for rarer colors in non-standard widths is difficult.

yep. near impossible. your best bet is to preorder when they come around or post a WTB on SF.

It's also near impossible to get a company to accept a non-D-width preorder.

The guys at Leffot order wides in Indy boots (the widest to begin with) but no on lasts that are known to run standard or narrow.
