My big responsibility is to let people know that they can take the flowers from their table centerpiece but not the centerpiece base itself

[dingdingding with fork on glass] "Also, people? Hello? Everyone, eyes on me please! Please don't take any of the following: tablecloth, dishes, silverware, those cute little salt and pepper shakers, and glassware. Thank you, and have a good night! Drive safe, all!"

The centerpiece thing is actually a big deal
When you tell people they can take the flowers, some people just grab the whole thing ... and the bride and groom end up owing money for each missing base to the florist or whoever

prices aren't better. but they have a great selection and there's certainly less demand for aldens in korea than Japan/US/Sweden (3 biggest Alden markets if i'm not mistaken). also, they have a much higher number of units in smaller sizes.

jay (owner, i think) quoted me $670 shipped to the states for a pair of navy suede ptb's. that shoe should be $490 in the states, plus tax about $525. so really, you're paying about 30% more.

Keep in mind, it's called a "Desert Boot" for a reason. It's an old British military boot design, meant to be worn in the North African deserts.

i have no reason to pay more for any shoes at the moment
i don't even begin to look at buying something until it's about 30% off or more
but i will swing by to check it out

i guess. but a lot of these shoes are so low production, that if you find something you really like, there's a chance you won't find it anywhere else for two years. so really, what's another $1xx dollars for something you really want?

i guess that could happen
but i'm not shoe crazy at the moment so probably not
plus i'm a very easy to find and fit size so don't have to worry as much

The shoes I sold were Common Projects, but I've had inquiries about Aldens as well.

"Desert boots" can be any color, but are usually either suede or a medium brown. They are usually two eyelets and have crepe soles (the gummy-ish ones).

Bean boots are, in my opinion, the best winter boots for the money. Just do not get the lined ones. The lining is really poorly done.

This wedding is a logistical nightmare

I highly recommend you get a wedding planner
Or at least get really good help.
