My Ride: 2011 BMW 135i

Untitled by , on Flickr

The wife bought me a new shirt today. Polo RL custom fit sport shirt. First one I've had and it fits really well. I might wear it to my brothers wedding down in Key West at the end of the month.

I also picked up the pants from Gap for $19. She is not a fan, lol. I think they look good for the price and will look good with the right polo, tee and boat shoes.

The broker is pushing me incessantly to offer them this coverage. If you recall our discussion of "firing a client," this is the broker I was saying I'd like to cut off, but can't due to their production on other lines.

To complicate things, I think it's less of an issue of trying to sell a more expensive policy, and more of an issue of the broker having no understanding of why this type of insurance is not appropriate for this client. I'm not sure which is worse.
That's the downside of that rule, lol.

And that broker sounds like a miserable "partner" to deal with. I'm not sure which I would rather deal with....greedy or willfully ignorant.

I like the subdued color, but different strokes, yada, yada.

It's my first pair of Gap chino's and I totally agree, nice fit and very comfortable.

I think they're just ignorant and don't get why it doesn't make sense.

They're a wholesaler, which is traditionally used to do hard-to-place business, but these guys just operate as an aggregation point and add no value to the account.

Bloodsucking middleman

I'm going to fix my sleeping schedule tonight ... jetlag has been keeping me up at nights
So tired now but I will stay up another few hours so I don't wake up in the middle of the night again

If those are your go-to colors, get some navy and then different shades of blue. Wearing red pants WILL get you harassed as a more junior employee.

I don't wear my red pants to the office unless I don't have any client meetings.

i didnt mean the red pants specifically, but just the overall color scheme of brighter, lighter colors. i have dark navy pants as well, but i feel like they really fall into the overall drab color scheme i have going on with my work pants. i feel stodgy and old. would it be inappropriate to wear pants in colors like seafoam, light blue, light yellow, etc?

Maybe in the spring. It all depends on your office culture.

I'd suggest wearing brighter shirts and lighter colored shoes before yellow pants.
