I believe you still have to remove your shoes unless you sign up for a special TSA pre-check program.. There's a bunch of rules to the knives, bats, etc.

while browsing jcrew.com and looking through my closet trying to pick out a shirt to wear right now, i realized that i don't bother buying short sleeve button up shirts anymore ... i can just roll the sleeves on reg sleeve shirts

I'm from Hawaii, Aloha Shirts that are fairly conservative are used as the normal Dress Shirt for most office workers. Not the crazy beachwear Aloha Shirts. Reyn Spooner is my go-to for Aloha Shirts. I usually get 1 every other trip I make back there. I have 8 at the moment.
