I have a sit down/ meeting with the owner of a real estate agency tomorrow. I'm not much of a suit guy yet. I decided to go with dress pants, dress shoes, a nice belt and a dress shirt. I decided to go no tie I thought it might be too much. I can't decide weather to go with a black or white shirt underneath my dress shirt ( white ) its barely see through when it's in the light but I'm pale and I think it looks funny. Just looking for your professional opinion. Thanks.

Probably a white undershirt. I think a black undershirt would show up too much under the dress shirt.

Tie = jacket
No jacket = no tie
So that part is okay
Go with white undershirt

Awesome this is a noob question but are undershirts a bit thinner than say a t shirt. Should I go wife beater?

Usually they're a lighter material. A wife beater will allow you an open collar on your dress shirt without a crewneck collar underneath.

I usually just wear a wifebeater and dress pants... It's my idea of business casual.

You're not a slut/hooker trying to impress a client with your black bra through a white shirt, dress matching white muscle shirt for a white dress shirt black for black etc. You could do a V neck but I prefer a muscle shirt especially if you're not wearing a tie and plan to have it open. A tie is ok but generally you don't need to wear a tie if it's more of a casual thing, even with/without the jacket.

Good luck

Depends I'm a bargain kind of guy so tie's are usually a 20-30$ deal for me, I go ross/marshalls or any online sales at BB etc. since it's a wedding are you trying to go with the theme or just need a black tie? If it is a black tie decision then defiintely ross/marshalls snag a calvin klein tie and call it a day.

You should know that you gotta post a number.

Not breaking the bank for imola or Ed is quite different than you or hockeyman.

ebay is seriously your best friend for ties.

i'd say kent wang are the best VALUE in ties. not cheapest. not best quality. they're kind of like the AE of ties... best price/quality ratio.

KW is very prompt on shipping. Everything ships from Texas in 2-day priority mail. Processing is no more than a day, but I get what you mean.
