i'm going to call tomorrow to confirm what's included in "custom" and what mill the included fabric is from. I don't want to buy it and it be some generic mill and then they charge me $100 more for a ticket pocket and $100 more for functioning cuffs and blah blah blah. i don't expect this to be the case but for a non-refundable purchase, i want to make sure.

the new suit
looks almost like a solid navy from a distance
then looks like a windowpane at medium distance
and then you can see the glen plaid closer up

1 3/4" cuffs
8" leg opening

so i received these first
i like how they look .. but ... wtf
the tongue is stitched at a weird angle + stitched very tightly at the ankle ... so i have to unlace almost all the way to open up the boots just to put my feet in
i've worn boots before ... never had something like this
you can even see how oddly the tongue is folded in the picture
it's just like that

do you ever feel like you're just buying redundant articles of clothing? i feel like most "old people" clothes pretty much fall into a handful of categories and just have minor variations therebetween.

well the C&J pembroke fills a void in my shoe rotation
almost all my shoes are balmorals and i don't have any wingtips at the moment
these are bluchers + wingtip
and has pebble grain leather
i did wear the AE strand with jeans 2-3 times ... but these will be much better to pair with jeans and other casual outfits

i was in search of some boots for the casual wear purpose ... but i think these will be more versatile

i do, but the differences are less subtle and fitteds don't cost $200 a hat lol. i actually own only one pair of jordans (and they were on sale for about $70) too. as much as i like sneakerhead-type shoes, they dont really go well with the type of clothing i wear, so i have to really like a classic pair of kicks before i buy them. most of my sneakers are chucks, which are pretty cheap.
