Hell you can get good wine for $10 a bottle, at that rate I'd be more worried about your wardrobe expenses than alcohol expenses haha. And just because you are buying/drinking two bottles at once doesn't mean you have to drink double. Pour a 2oz pour, then switch. And when you reach your alcohol limit of 8oz total you'll have a good indication of the differences in the wine.

class class class lol

I guess you haven't noticed... I have a problem with restraining myself
I would probably finish both bottles just because they are there

Soon enough there will be a pill out there for you...

Oh and who gives a F when you are drinking red wine, its probably the "healthiest" form of alcohol you can ingest. You are looking at roughly 110 calories a glass. A bottle will be more than enough for anyone to feel pretty damn good. For the 500 or so calories, thats still less than your average mixed/frozen drink that gets you a stomach ache instead of a buzz.

I will fight for red wine until the death of me.

Speaking of, I am bottling my wine this week. Me and a few guys do it every year. We made out with about 26 gallons of both red zinfandel and cabernet sauvignon. We added some french oak spirals to the cabernet, it came out effing delicious.

Been a really strange few days, weeks, months ...
Whenever I hit what seemed to be a deadend or just losing steam, one or two better options presented themselves
Good thing, of course

Anyway
Got a 25% off coupon in mail from brooks bros for friends and family weekend
And I guess they must have opened the downtown location again? Said to visit the store on Figueroa

navy you have a lot to work with as well
That's what I figured. Now I need to get my ass some boat shoes lol. I can't find the ones we all talked about a while back now.

Went to a wine bar in pasadena last night
On wed nights, any bottle of wine on their menu is $20
Got excited ... sampled 3 of them...and figured out why they were only $20 for the bottle at a bar

I ordered a beer which was pretty good
Wish I could remember the name of it

GAP has a good looking pair of Canvas ones for $30 right now. I already have a pair but for $30 I still picked them up.

Sperry topsider boat shoes
Available everywhere and for cheap
Can definitely find under $50 at any given time
I'm pretty sure mine were about $35-40 at nordstrom rack
Because I would not have paid any more than that for a pair of boat shoes
I was actually iffy about the whole boat shoe thing because it was a first for me
Ended up really liking them and wore them all the time

Which wine bar in pasadena? I could never get into the style of boat shoes...but I am getting a bit of the Ed bug in wanting to splurge on nice things, in particular shoes now...I want a capped loafer like that one you guys linked a while back just minus all the "trimings"

Bodega wine bar at the paseo mall

I don't do dressed up loafers
But boat shoes are super casual
Very easy to wear with anything

Oh I like the one in hollywood better before it closed down. There is a wine/scotch place near slater's 50/50 that will do tastings. Maybe give that place a shot and this way you can ask questions.

I also want more chucka's for casual wear...like the one's I saw at that place but not 450$ range Actually I think it's just time for a new wardrobe

I'm in between, some 42's fit me fine others fit me tight. 44's are probably a better fit for me right now.

Wearing ae strand today
Haven't worn them in a while
Noticed that the shoe trees left a funky impression on the heel part of the insole
A long indentation about an inch wide because that is how the shoe tree is shaped on the bottom of the wooden heel
The shoe trees are from jos a banks
I was a little worried that it was messing up the insole permanently

I tried to take pic just now so I took my shoe off (after having worn it for 5 hours so far)
But the indentation is pretty much gone so i guess no problem
I will probably not use the jos a banks shoe tree in these shoes

If i can find a way to send you a bottle with zero issues, i'll send it. Honestly, its good, but i would advise drinking it for at least another 4-5 months. It really does the wine in well to sit and age for at least that full year.

I have oaked cabernet, some unoaked cab, and a very lightly oaked red zinfandel. I'll put some pics up.
