I've always been a big fan of the Free line from Nike.....however, after my 3rd pair I've moved away from them in favor of the Minimus line from New Balance.

Reasonably stable, but running shoes are inherently poor for squatting.

Which is why I got the trainer version instead of the free run

They are much better than my running shoes or basketball shoes ... but I still go barefoot for heavier squat and deadlift at times

I only ran on the treadmill with these shoes once. Feels fine. I still have my running shoes, too
I'm kinda keeping the nike free for gym use only

yes
i have had my sleeves shortened on my coat
i also bought a coat from spoopoker that had been significantly tailored in the body to fit really slim (and then resold because it didn't fit me properly)

What's everyone got for luggage? I'm looking at getting a rolling/carry-on garment bag for work. Was looking at Tumi, but open to other suggestions. I'll be doing a fair amount of traveling so I'm willing to pony up if the durability is there.

Tumi is solid stuff, but never pay full price since they are on sale in some form or another if you're shopping online.

Briggs & Riley is pretty reputable, but pricier than Tumi in certain instances.

Travelpro is used by a lot of pilots and flight attendants, so that's gotta be a good sign.

Halliburton stuff is big $$$, but it's bomb proof. My dad's flight set was Halliburton which I now have. It's easily 40 years old and still works perfectly.

Question: when you wear something like a blazer or cardigan over a button-down, should the button-down always be tucked in? Even with jeans?

I always tuck

I wouldn't say you have to tuck, sometimes when i go out a rock a black moleskin sportcoat over a buttondown and jeans, the shirt is untucked.

In other news, got the suit tailored, here's 2 pics. Really hard to take normal looking selfies holding up the phone lol

I always tuck a button down shirt. To be honest, I wish I was more comfortable having one untucked with jeans.

Polos can go either way.

Went into BB on Michigan again today, and finally pulled the trigger on a couple staple suits to get me started at the new gig. If anyone remembers, I've had some less-than-stellar experiences with some of the sales guys there, but I dealt with the assistant store manager today, and he was extremely helpful. He also told me that for an extra $100, I can get ANY BB suit in mis-matched size (such as my 44 jacket and 33 pant) or cut (like a Regent jacket and Madison pant.) I'll definitely be going back to him in the future.

They had a deal for buying two suits. I didn't get anything special - just a couple of the Regent essentials. Even though they're lower level BB, they fit me well and will be getting brat up via travel over the next few months.
