I stopped into the Lands End store in Sears and picked up three new pairs of shorts. I've been dropping a few pounds so I went with a size smaller than I've been wearing. Excellent.

Rancourt doesn't carry much (any?) stock. They have to be made.

You're not a heavy guy...what's your HS weight?

Probably 185-190. I'm about 195 now. I'm shooting for 190.

That's awesome. I hope I never weigh what I did in high school.

Just bought a DKNY suit, dark/med grey solid two button (idk if this is the same suit, but similar at least):

Originally $600, marked down to $320

It's always nice to get a deal. Did you get it tailored? When can you pick it up?

Yeah, I got the torso tapered just a bit, i wanted it a little tighter to my body for a more fitted look. Also, I had the sleeves shortened a quarter of an inch or so (I like the look of the cuff slightly poking out of the jacket).

Pants-wise, let the seat out slightly, no cuffs, light point at the bottom.

Picking it up Saturday!

Excellent. The things you suggested would be improvements over the fit in that pic (closer to the body, shorter sleeves, especially).

Are the pants flat-front or pleated?

I believe the pants are flat front, but don't hold me to it. I was paying more attention to the jacket

I'm a fan of flat-front pants. I think they are more slimming on me.

I didn't fill out until my last year of HS/first year of college/mission. When I got home from Japan I was about 215.

evolved posted a picture of a budweiser in the recent purchases thread...
which reminds me
