There's only one other guy that wears one.....he's 65 years old and has a life partner (not that there's anything wrong with that). Incidentally, he's the best dressed person in our division.
I only know one other person around here who occasionally wears a bow tie. I wear one almost every week to church, and infrequently to work. I have about five bow ties, but a couple of them are more fall/winter appropriate so they're not in rotation at the moment.

Besides: bow ties ARE conservative. Plus they are great for office work--the tie is up and out of the way--no worries about it getting mashed against the side of your desk while you're typing, etc.

In my dream last night, i was wearing some boots with my jeans
Most likely a pair of redwings
Very rugged and beefy looking
I specifically remember because i looked to make sure the jeans fit over the top part of the boots properly

As someone who takes his boots very seriously, that's a weirdo dream.

I just finished up a very acrimonious trust administration and handed off a $135K cashier's check to my clients. Time to exhale.

They looked brand new

He likely went to Yale, it's a signature look for the so-called Yalies aka pretentious dbags.

For Jury Duty, full on tux. Spats, cane, top hat. In addition to legal career zero chance of getting selected, unless of course Mr. Peanut is on trial.

Decidedly French and post apocalyptic nouveau anti-industrialist, like Trent Reznor all prepped for a date with some goth chick.

Coincidentally just in kitchen area with He the Notorious MB in close proximity.

Dude positively stinks of mothballs! What could it be otherwise, cheap cologne or deodorant???

Mothballs!

This is an excellent suggestion. I will have to make sure I acquire a monocle prior to the jury selection date. I doubt I'll be able to get the cane through security though unless I fake a limp (fake war injury?).

I like your writing style. You should post in this thread more.

Preferably with multi-quote though.

Dave, you may get picked for the jury. You dont come across as blatantly biased.

What if one side is trying to invoke emotion? Couldn't he seem too logical?

We recently passed on taking a claim to trial bc of that.

Totally forgot that i have a white with red stripe shirt similar to what i am wearing now
Would have made the outfit more july 4 appropriate
Instead of just trying to wing it with the orange shoes

That's a pretty nice outfit for a fireworks show.

I just had a couple of appointments today (one via telephone) and now I'm done. I just wore a pink OCBD and some stone chinos with my AE penny loafers.

So now my motivation to work has just about evaporated. I'll probably leave once the mail shows up (just in case anyone sent me a check).

I won't claim to know anything about trial strategy. It can be argued both ways--every time.
