Very nice. I'm looking forward to beating mine up a bit. I'm craving an outdoor vacation.

robbing with a sword is a good thing

We're headed on a backpacking overnighter into Desolation Wilderness in the morning.

I'm not a very savvy bargain shopper. I buy most of my stuff on sale, but still at retail stores.

I'm hardly a baller. I'll take the opera lawyer part, though.

Shelby/Pratt knot. Halfway in size between a full and half windsor, which is like perfect for me. With that knot I didn't have to finger it at all, dimpled automatically.

A nicer tie usually makes a dimple easily
Unless if the material is too thick

Yeah which is odd. Even tho this definitely my "nicest" (designer tie), I do have like a BOSS tie and a couple others and they don't dimple nearly as well. I'm going to try tying it the way I did last night and see how it goes.

It was funny tho I had gone to dinner with a possible sponsor for our company and she complimented the knot first, then said oh and it's a nice tie!

I don't even know what a Shelby/Pratt knot is. You kids and your fancy-schmancy knots.

It's not a great time to get into law, to be honest. But if you have a passion for it, then go for it.
