I wouldn't let that stop you. If it sounds like something you want to pursue send your resume/CV.....what do you have to lose?

don't be afraid to apply for jobs that are over your years. Just argue that you can do the job. Years of experience is (should) just an indicator of ability.

Years of experience, unfortunately, is rarely a good indicator of ability. I know many attorneys who, instead of 10 years of experience, have about a year of experience repeated 10 times. Many attorneys get into a rut and never learn anything new.

I heard about a pair of brothers who graduated from law school 3 years ago. Passed the bar, but one works as a bartender and one is interning for free. Both live in Queens on their dad's dime.

I predict a lot of this.

I hate to suggest this, but you can order/return from a place like JCrew to verify sizing.

robbing with a sword is a good thing

Someone on SF nabbed a spy shot of the Fall 2012 Allen Edmonds catalog.....specifically the boots section.

not happy at all

i think bal boots look strictly good in dress form, none of that unlined distressed leather... not happy in the least bit. figures that they make a bal boot but it isn't a cap toe that i'm looking for, with full broguing

Dwass... thanks for the suggestion, i think i'll order two at a time from the shoe mart and just return whichever one doesn't fit as well

Looking for a nice set of dress shoes to go with that black suit. Any good suggestions? Preferably under $100 and I need them by Friday!

lol, good point. I'm guessing it's a play off of the neumok shoe.

I don't mind the Long Branch or the Eagle County, but I already have leather boots with a lug sole. However, I do like that the Dalton will be offered in a different cordovan (it's snipped at the bottom of the 3rd image).

Your best bet is probably your local Macy's or Nordstrom. You'll find slim pickin's at 100 bucks, though.

Just go buy a pair of Kenneth Coles or Aldos.

Time, price or quality. Pick two of three.

Keeping in mind that this is the YMWDLOM thread, I don't think those are going to get a lot of love here. Most of us are into old-school, heavy-soled dress shoes. Those Prada boots are a bit modern for most of us. They're also not a great value for what you're paying, even at the sale price. The quality of construction and materials on those don't look that great.
