We might be a little too...errr...mature for you in here, since we tend to go for the classic stuff and stay away from some of the more trendy cuts/fabrics. But hopefully you can pick up on a few useful things here, and maybe you'll have some cool stuff to show us as well.

Like others have mentioned, StyleForum is a good place to go to get up to speed.

Digging the jacket big time.

Biz casual today......navy J. Crew Pants, a green J. Crew polo and my Strands, which appear to be getting darker as I polish them.

Are you talking about belts like these?

They're called "surcingle belts," not knit belts.

I would call that a woven belt. I think of knits as things like polos and sweaters.

Yeah, that would work as well.

This must be the most boring Friday afternoon ever if this is how we are spending our time.

mind you... $14 belts hahaha

speaking of, the last time i was at AE, i have to overhear another gentleman (lol) accuse AE of using "fake" shell for their belts, because the one that he purchased however many moons ago was 1 piece, where the new ones now are 3 pieces stitched together...

that was fun listening him grip over that...

i have thought about getting the matching belt. i am using a cheap brown belt right now that actually matches my shell strands perfectly, but if they ever came out with a brown shell belt, idk i would consider it

I may have asked this before but just making sure.

I'm planning on getting the BB suit tailored in the next week or so. However, how much can a body build change within a size? I am pretty soft right now (not fat, just very little muscle and soft stomach, no gut), and with school starting I plan on getting in really good shape. Not like football big but my goal is Bale/American Psycho or Pitt/Fight Club, so lean muscle, which is prob best for soccer anyway. If the suit fits almost perfect now, should I return it and wait to get something bigger? Or is there some breathing room once I get in shape? If I keep it, should I tailor it now then retailor as needed? Or should I let it sit in the closet for a few months until I build some muscle?

I have that and it's probably the most useful thing I've purchased all summer.

It all depends on how much you'll vary. You're not going to maintain a Bale/Pitt physique year-round, so be honest with yourself. I can vary an easy 15lbs and wear the same suit, but that's because of how I gain/lose weight. BB suits are pretty conservative in the cut so you should have some "breathing room."

What the hell? Fake shell? It's easy to identify shell. Cheaper shell, maybe, but real/fake is a silly discussion.

There are places that make brown shell belts. They'll cost you a minimum of $200-250.

I've got a gift card for $35 off a full price pair of shoes at AE. If anyone is interested let me know and I can mail it over to you. I do t see myself using it for anything in the next month that it has before it expires.

Sent from my SCH-I535 using Bimmer App
