^^^I like the shirt & tie combo

In other news, I made another boot purchase this afternoon. AE's Dalton's in burnished walnut calf....got it for 20% off using my wifes discount. With this purchase, I'm about tapped out for my fall budget on clothing, so I think I'm done for a while.

I didn't make the connection until recently.

The suit fairy. She came to retrieve the suits. You were not a good steward.

Lucas - not feeling that tie with the shirt/coat. I think the textures clash a bit.

robbing with a sword is a good thing

so i've come to the conclusion that i'm not spending the money on AE's if i'm not crazy about the Dalton, and for Alden... well apparently they only enjoy selling $700 boots sometimes, I guess they don't believe in capitalization, or maybe they are anti-greed, so they are going to take their sweet ass time making more shell wingtip boots

so without further ado, i present these...

http://www.jcpenney.com/dotcom/staff...bCatId=&regId=

I am going to try them on and see how they feel lol... considering they cost less than an entree and two side cars, i think i'll take a chance and see how they feel. it will be for casual use only, and for that price, i don't give a sh*t what happens to them

i might try to lighten them up a bit with my walnut polish however.... we shall see. i'll drop the dough on shell boots when the perfect ones come readily available... until then, spending anything more than $100 is pointless IMO

What tipped me off was you posting a very similarly worded question in this thread and the AE thread on StyleForum, lol.

Let us know how the boots work out!
