That'd be a sweet gig. In my mind, you'd be walking down the street and be like, "Hey, Barry! Yeah nice weather we've been having. Oh nothing, just keeping the homeland secure. Later!"

Because in my mind, DC is just the White House and Obama goes on leisurely walks and talks to his neighbors.

That's a big price tag. I agree with the bonus idea though - bonuses are the opportunity to spend money frivolously.

I really like the Lopez, but just can't stomach the price.

Is it a seminar on how to dress like you're from the easy coast when you live on the west coast?

Maybe he would ask your advice on getting some new suits. Be optimistic.

Is the midnight calf dark navy or black?

I love the idea of suede shoes, but I feel like I would be super paranoid with them.

It's between royal blue and navy. I decided I'm going to pass on them. I don't think they'd actually be very useful in my wardrobe.

I was going to say the same thing in the event that they were actually navy. They are gorgeous shoes, but I would imagine not very versatile.

Some Carminas that Epaulet is doing an MTO on. I'm definitely passing though - that price for calfskin + lack of versatility = can't do it.

It rained for about a minute this morning, which was enough to get me to bust out this totally premature fall-color ensemble.

I'm not finding any love in my heart for either of those boots, personally.

Good luck Ed. I applied for a lot of DHS jobs and they are very competitive.

EDIT: my office was broken into, he stole all our laptops and my briefcase.

They caught the guy today, so maybe I'll get the case back!

I think I liked the idea of them, because Carminas are rarely available in wides, but when I took a good look, the love was gone.

For me, blue is great for either my Neumoks, or a suede blucher wingtip like those Aldens that were posted a while ago... light natural sole, omg love

however for boots... walnut, mocha, #4, #8, Ravello.... all acceptable colors considering boots like those will be getting mostly fall/winter wear. Blue for me is spring and summer.... even the blue suede chukkas... gorgeous, but not practical...

Rec'd two Kent Wang shirts. This plum polo and a white dress shirt.

Fit is spot on. This is a large.
